DADDY ROCKS!

Last place from teh top 3. YAY! that's us! WE! SAC! ROCKS! I am soo happy. So what if we didnt get that BIG cheque and trophy. We know we did well and got 3rd! And we aren't from drama club. So thanks to everyone for putting in their best. Especially Shantaine. The lighting was fab. And marie...Ah mah-ing rocked to my socks. Thanks to Oli for playing all the slides and sounds at the right time. Thanks celeste and channie, for being props managers. Thanks for mr ng, for riting our script and helping us rehearse. Thanks for miss tan for training us. Thanks for miss chia and miss martens for being there to watch the performance.So many thank yous...This means that we'll be performing on ND at national musuem. so u must be there.After that i went for SJAB...we are gonna march for NDP sports carnival. We practiced with the guides.After all the competition and training.....i'm tired....i'm starting to worry i cant cope with my work....streamings coming...i'm scared...

HI! Long time no blog. so much has happened. The other day, we went with miss tan after rehearsals for dinner at BILLY BOMBERS! We had so much fun...our side of the table at least. Miss tan is sooo... fun.So mr ng came back for rehearsals on tue. The performance is on fri. i'm not really scared this time since we've performed before...but now that i realise that there'll be people watching us.....yesterday i stayed over at vanessa's cos marie brought home my gg tb so i studied with vanessa. well...wish us luck for Friday. We can do this!Who cares what all those people said?It doesn't matter, as long as we worked hard. HOPES HIGH PPL! :)

HISTORY OF DRAMA WAS A GREAT HIT!!! No, actually i don't know that. But i know that we all did our best and that it was our best performance ever...out of all the times we rehearsed and i'm really proud of everyone....i really am....
On thursday, we left school at 11.15. We as in....Marie, belle, vanessa, YN, claudia, shantaine, eunice, ali, carissa, tharshini, me and miss tan. We had to carry alot of props down. Chairs..drums...that kind of things. Then we went there. We had 50minutes to rehearse, try out the light and stuff. We were only allowed to use a certain lights and these lights faded out very slowly, which was a problem, because we had scenes where the light needed to flicker. So we were worried.
Friday, was the big day, we had made some changes so that we could accomadate the new lighting. We left school at 8.10. That day we had to wear green to school to show our support for live earth. Most of us wore our green PE shirt. I was very nevous and when we got there and saw the other groups, we were so intimidated since they seemed so confident and some of them were from the drama club, whereas none of us were. I had to have a moustache drawn on me, as so did carissa and belle, cos we were "guys". I looked MANLY! I was very worried about the chess scene since we had recently edited it and we didnt have much time to practice it. But carissa was quite confident. Before the auditions, we ran through once.
Finally, a lady came up to us to let us know it was our turn. Everone was sort of frantci and we were like: where's the drum stick?? where's the drum stick and ran up and down.
We had prayed of course, on the bus on the way there. So i kept telling myself that we would do fine. When we went in and saw a camera we were like....there's a camera? there were 3 judges. So we began the show and though we had no sound effects at times since the cable wasnt connected...it still was ok. I didnt forget my lines. and the chess scene was FINE, despite the fact that carissa almost dropped the piece. And although vanessa forgot some lines it was OKAY! I was so happy. all those rehearsals almost everyday have finally paid off!!!
Results are out this wed....

we're having history rehearsals now. miss tan and mr ng didnt come. ali is saying her lines vry fast. haha...we're all rushing..we have to do this in 10 minutes.... YN wants her name here. She is a very adorable soldier who loves little miss chatterbox!!! :] ali loves eating. she has been eating since she came here....both were lines from ali and yn. we're having a little production meeting now. ok..claudia says she's here. we're reading lins to c how long this is going to take....hoping it's in 10 minutes. CLAUDIA WAS HERE!!!YN WAS HERE!!! yesterday we had dance. it was ok...not that difficult. we might be able to go watch the DIM SUM DOLLIES! :) SJAB yesterday was ok. the sec3's were in charge. we spent our last few minutes with the sec 4s..i'll miss them..although we're seeing them next week for the passing out ceremony. we have to bring our uniforms...and next wk is the BIG DAY! HISTORY COMPETITION!EUNICE WAS HERE!!!YN is taking a ridiculous amount of pictures on her phone. YANNING the GREAT; ITS NOT RIDICULOUS OKAYYYYYY! :]ok whatever. we're going to buy costumes on monday. o

Interesting day today. Today there was no teacher during lit, but we were given some poems to anlyse. While analysing, belle, marie, van and me, were pretending to be various hollywood starlets...and today, we learnt of belle's new talent - BEATBOXING! She's pretty good at it. And i became a rock start by the name of Phantom of the Rock Star. I know lame and all. But funny.After school marie and belle went wherever they went to get cloth while vanessa and me had lunch with yn. After lunch, when walking by the market, we found a POSB card and some namecards. So we brought them to the police statio. after that, van and me went to the national library. We wanted to find straits time archives, but apparently only regional lib have that....bedok isnt regional...so we did our hw before going to look for books. That was when i went mad. I kept looking at history books and saying stuff like: isn't this cool? history's cool. Vanessa was uninterested....so i said: Y r u not excited?I kept saying lame stuff like that plus....: oh y dun i get that ww2 book. All that time, i did not know someone was there. Plus i know her. So now my love for history books is known. When we were walking out the sensor started beeping. OK EMBARASSING cos she saw it too. Turned out, the sensor was just a bit weird, cos we double checked to make sure we borrowed all the books and we did. We also saw belle and marie twice. First, we were on different side of escalators. We are fated. Second, at the bustop.

I am stretched...
History of Drama is crazy. But it's just 1 more week and it'll all be over.
Ok so for this competition we need costumes for WW2. So calling all ppl with WW2 costumes... ya i hope u can offer us reasonable prices or even better...FOC.
We finished at like, 5.45 today...by the time i was home it was 7. Thanks to buses 14 an 24. I suffered from another splitting headache. And had some heavy breathing. Went online for art at 8. No one's doing the script....
COOL.
I actually managed to sort of do english. This is a great achievement for me since i usually rush hw. I hope it's not graded cos that was pretty much a no-brainer. I am so tired. History was tiring...it was like we had to do scenesover and over again. at least they were'nt my scenes....but when your doing sound and lighting and ur doing that many times it get boring. watching the same thing too.
